The MicroMotor relay is housed within a 96x96mm flush panel-mounting DIN case with a separate din rail mounting CT module connected via a 300mm cable.
The MicroMotor can be equipped with one of several communication protocols, Modbus RS485, Profibus DP, Modbus over Ethernet

The uMotor can be supplied in a package allowing the device to be DIN rail mountable to standard 35mm tophat din rail. The normal connections for power, Vref, DI/DO’s are then made at 90 degrees to the rear of the relay.
The CT connection is rated at 25mA and is designed to 5p10 at the following ratings:
10A:0.025A (10A:25mA) for motors with an expected full load current of between 2.5A to 15A
50A:0.025A (50A:25mA) for motors with an expected full load current of between 12.5A to 75A
100A:0.025A (100A:25mA) for motors with an expected full load current of between 25A to 150A
The 25mA output has some advantages in that it is still a measurement based upon a current loop and yet the normal amount of iron within the CT core for typical 5A or 1A secondary outputs, (particularly at low primary/energising currents) is not needed and therefore the physical size of a low primary CT remains very small.
If necessary the phase CTs can be double wound with the primary conductor (providing the CT aperture space permits this) in order to reduce the In rating to half.
So, a 10A:0.025mA can be suitably used as a 5A:25mA CT with two passes of the primary conductor.
A comprehensive and extensively used relay used for large LV and medium voltage 3-phase motor protection, developed primarily as a direct replacement for the older MPR2000.
